Make in India tracker: The China-India mobile manufacturers submit

Make in India's electronic divisions next step - The China-India Mobile Phone and Component Manufacturers Submit

It should have happened yesterday, 13-January. "As many as 107 mobile industry players were expected to be part of the submit" says one of the Managing Directors of a top electronics company. No news on the submit status published on the web yet, or we could see.

We hope it went on well. So what should it trigger?

A healthy competition between the 29 Indian states who would want to get them in their locations, along with the 7 union territories.

Whatever said, expect a bunch of opportunities opening up in India.

On the submit side, we don't have the entire 107 manufactures list, but some names are out:

Real Life Incidents 1 - An Elephant roar

Monday morning, there isn't any tourist or any native men, except we 3, at the Chiklihole Dam, Coorg, 3 KMs off the road that goes to Dubare Elephant camp, a well known tourist spot.

It doesn't seemed like having human habitats, or huts around, probably a move to preserve the forest. No commercial shops either, except that one big resort on the other side of the dam, probably 1500 meters away. The circular dam is a visual treat. We could hear a holy music from one direction, but not sure if someone is around.

We got down the car, stranded, watching the Nature's beauty, but a little scared too. Never a time, we could remember or dreamed off standing in the middle of a Jungle, with no humans around.

It was not even 5 minutes and my wife asked 'what if some Elephant comes?' and continued 'I don't think it's safe around'.

Not minding the words, I said, 'Let's walk a bit' seeing the narrow path before me, the path to walk the bridge and take a quick view of the spectacular dam, thinking of a family selfie.

Just 5 steps ahead and came the sound 'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...'

'I think that's an Elephant' said me.

'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..............rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...' came the sound again. That's definitely an ELEPHANT's ROAR.

A sudden feel of chill in my body, and I starred at my wife. She seemed to be feeling the same.

'Let's move out', I said with a low voice and ran back to the car, my wife followed me carrying our kid.

I opened the car without the 'click click' sound that usually emanates when the remote is pressed and took a reverse with no reverse horn music even. In another 5 mins, we are out of the 3KM jungle stretch.

We call it cherish or thrilled - that's a moment we can never forget - The ROAR OF THE JUNGLE ELEPHANT.
